Bowness Community Association

For the month of Setember 2013 we have chosen the " Bowness Community Association " The Bowness area was also completely devistated by the flood this past June. Hundreds of homes were affected. The Bowness Community Association was quick to respond with setting up labor sites and helping the community dig their way out of the flood damges. We will be taking $10.00 from every invoice and will tally the amount at the end of September at which time we will send out a cheque with our donation. Breast Cancer Support Group

For the month of July 2012 we are happy to announce of Charity of Choice wiill be: Breast Cancer Support Group In 2011 over 2100 woman ere diagnosed with cancer in Alberta alone. Fortunately, this small organization in Calgary is help making a huge diifference to women impacted by this disease. To support this mission they host the Fashion with Compassion event, which allows them to provide and extend the services in our community. Brown Bagging

For the month of January & February, Kent Hansen Plumbing & Heating has chosen the Brown bagging program for kids. For the first 2 months of 2012 - $10.00 off every invoice will be put aside to donate. At the end of the February we will tally the amount of invoices x $10.00 per invoice and submit a cheque to the Brown bagging program for kids at the end of the month. For the month of November 2013 we are proud to once again have the " Brown Bagging For Calgary Kids" as our charity of choice. We urge all of our clients to personally donate to this cause as well. Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids has one straight forward goal; no hungry kids in Calgary. We strive toward this goal each day by providing healthy lunches directly to children and, by empowering communities to create lasting social change. Calgary Womens Emergency Shelter

For January 2013 we have chosen the " Calgary Womens Emergency Shelter " as our charity of choice. Thirty-five years and 100,000 lives changed. Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter was the first shelter in Western Canada for women fleeing family violence and abuse. As the need for help in our community has grown, so has Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter. Kamp Kiwanis

Kamp Kiwanis was established in 1951 when land was purchased west of Calgary and a camp was built for underpriviledged and disavantaged kids to enjoy the outdoors.
